How you feel about your smile can greatly impact your self image and how you are seen by others. If you are missing one or more teeth, this can have a very negative effect on your confidence, causing you a great deal of embarrassment. Dental implants can help to rebuild your smile (and your confidence!), and thanks to advances in implant dentistry, there are a variety of solutions available. Our dentists are trained in both the surgical placement of dental implants and in the restoration process whereby beautiful porcelain crowns and bridges are bonded to the dental implants.
Single-tooth Restorations: When our dentists carefully place your dental implant where your natural tooth root would have been, they are creating a sturdy foundation that can then support a beautiful dental crown to fill in the gap in your smile.
Dental Implant Bridge: If you have a larger space of consecutive missing teeth, we may recommend an Implant Bridge supported by two or more implants to span whole missing section with one beautiful restoration. Implant Bridges tend to be more affordable than multiple single-tooth implant restorations and sometimes allow us to restore teeth in certain areas that may be impossible otherwise.
Implant Supported Dentures: The major downside of traditional dentures is the sad fact that dentures do not stay put very well when they are supported only by gum tissue. Lower dentures especially are notorious for sliding around and even popping out when you least want them to. But the great news of modern implant dentistry is that your dentures no longer have to drift about. By placing two or more dental implants in the jaw and installing matching attachment clips on the inside of your denture, you are now entitled to a denture which will lock in place throughout the day, giving you unmatched support and power to your bite. When the sun goes down, the denture can be unsnapped from its attachments for regular care and cleaning. This can be done in conjunction with a brand new denture of our making, or in some cases we can retro-fit your existing denture to work in harmony with your new implants.
All-on-4: Teeth in a day: In this procedure, four or more implants are placed and used to support a permanent, non-removable, full set of teeth. This is an excellent option for “full arch” treatment in which every tooth on either the top or bottom of your mouth are being replaced. The exciting part about this treatment option (other than the fact of having great-looking, non-removable teeth) is that with this treatment modality you can place the implants and replace all the teeth in one single visit. One single implant on its own is not enough to support even one tooth without several months of healing time, but four or more implants together can hold up your new teeth the very day they are installed.
To us, the coolest part of dental implants is the way they integrate seamlessly into your mouth. The ultra bio-compatible titanium of the implant post is readily accepted by your body to the point that your own bone will grow onto and around the implant making it a permanent part of your new, healthier mouth. Because of this marvelous integration achieved with your body’s own hard tissue, a well-cared-for implant should last you the rest of your life. And in fact, the crowns we attach to your Better Dental implants are covered by our Better Dental Guarantee.
